Background
All providers providing longitudinal care are asked to submit lists of empaneled clients to MSP/Teleplan. The lists will appear on the Panel Registry (part of the Provincial Attachment System) in a few days after submission.
Refer to the below link for more detailed information:
Submitting Panel Lists
There are two ways for providers to submit your initial panel lists:
- Through Profile EMR (Coming soon!)
- Through the third-party billing service provider, Dr.Bill, which is provided at no cost.
Submitting Panel Lists using Dr.Bill
- Log into Profile EMR
- Go to Report and select Stored Queries
- Navigate to Operational Reports - Clinical
- Open the "My Case Load - Active Patients" stored query
- Enter your user code
- Click OK
- Sort list by Last Name
- Export to Excel
To submit your panel through Dr.Bill, visit their submission webpage. On this page you will also find instructions for how to submit your client panel. Helpful templates and training materials for preparing your extract for upload can also be found on the Health Technology Resources webpage.

How to add clients to panel
- With client in context on the Yellow Bar, create a Quick Bill (hitting "Ctrl-Alt-Q" keyboard combo or QuickBill icon in toolbar)
- Type 98990 in the Service field
- Add a diagnosis from the list on the right
- Click OK
The billing claim will then be sent to MSP by your clinic's billing clerk at the next billing cycle.
How to remove client from panel
In the PAS Panel Registry, select the client on your panel and click on the “remove” button on the PAS. Removing a client on the PAS will not remove them from your EMR, so you will want to ensure the client has also been inactivated in your EMR. Work is underway to integrate these systems in the future.
