How to Inactivate or Modify Out-of-Office tasks
Set Out-of-Office for Tasks
1. Click on the Out of Office Icon on the far right of your top bar to open it.
2. Enter the login name of the person who is out of office (e.g. SDEVLAMI)
3. Determine if tasks are allowed or else completely block tasks.
4. Enter start and end date. Note: the end date cannot exceed one year from current date
5. Click SAVE. The list of people that are out of office for that particular clinic will be listed.
Please note: inactive users will not be on the list. Also, a staff person will be "out of office" at every clinic where they are a member (e.g. if a clinician works at both PEN and RAB, they will be out of office at both clinics).
This is what the sender will see if they send a Task to a holder who has set their Out of Office for Tasks:
IMPORTANT: Only one row per user and the maximum end date is one year from current date: please only set your NEXT out-of-office date range. When this expires, you may set another date range.
Create Tasks for Out-of-Office Users
While creating tasks using Annotate button on Unsigned transactions, you cannot create a task for a user who has set up Out of Office for Tasks (even if they chose the Allow Tasks but Warn option).
If you still want to send a task to a user who has chosen to accept tasks with a warning you will have to leave the Annotate window and create the task using the New Task icon above the yellow bar.
